Who I am
I’m Chris—a sports medicine physician by day and a woodworker by every spare minute I can carve out. My workshop sits in the basement of our home, usually filled with the smell of hardwood, the hum of machines, and at least one dog supervising.
Woodworking started as a way to unwind from medicine, but it quickly turned into something more intentional: a place where precision, patience, and craftsmanship matter just as much as they do in the clinic. I build pieces meant to be used, gifted, and passed down—not mass-produced, not rushed, and never phoned-in.
Every board, box, or custom piece that leaves my shop is made by hand, one at a time, with attention to detail that borders on obsessive (in a good way). I work mostly in hardwoods, always favoring clean lines, solid joinery, and finishes that invite you to pick the piece up and actually use it.
If you’re here because you appreciate quality, or you’re looking for something made with the same care you’d give a close friend—I’m glad you found your way in. And if you have an idea you want to bring to life, even better. Let’s make something worth keeping.
